* Free estimates are for customers within 1 hour traveling distance. Customers outside travel distance will be charged a minimal estimate fee that will be deducted from the total cost of the project should they decide to move ahead with the project. General Contractors will be charged a fee of $40.00. Madeline Island customers would be expected to pay ferry costs.
* 48 hr. turnaround time for estimates on average size homes and commercial projects.
* A "touch up" is defined as a small area easily fixed without re-painting an entire area. Damage caused by other trades will not be coverd. Touch ups after six months will be charged at normal rates.
** In order to implement "Price Match" policy the following must apply:

Competitors quote must be separated into cost for labor and materials.
•
Must be a legitimate paint contractor business. (i.e.: tax ID number, insurance certificate, workman’s comp insurance if employees are being used, same applies to any sub-contractors they may use.) We will verify all information provided.
•
Quote must detail all work to be performed in written form, and be on company stationary.
•
Quote must be current (within 1yr).
•
Distinctive Painting will only match and deduct an additional 10% from labor costs.
•
Price Matching will void Distinctive Paintings original contract. The new contract will include labor costs only – NO materials.
•
The customer will now be responsible for purchase, transport, and determining quantities of materials.
•
Project will become the lowest priority. All projects booked before and during will be completed first. You will still receive the same top quality workmanship, however Distinctive Painting will only perform work as detailed by competitor. Customer will be consulted if Distinctive Painting feels that more steps are needed to achieve the quality that Distinctive Painting always delivers.
